Words From Our Nursing Organization’s Leader

President's Message

My name is Theresa Flint Rodgers, and I am honored to serve as President of the Birmingham Black Nurses Association (BBNA) for the 2025-2026 term. I stand on the shoulders of past Presidents and our esteemed founders, whose vision and dedication have laid the foundation for our thriving association.

At BBNA, we believe in the power of unity and collaboration. We are stronger when we work together, supporting one another in our professional journeys and advocating for the health and well-being of our community. Our collective efforts continue to drive positive change and elevate the standards of nursing practice.

I am excited for the journey ahead and look forward to working with all of you to build on our legacy of excellence and make a meaningful impact. Together, we can achieve great things.

Warm regards,

Theresa Flint Rodgers, DNP, CPNP-AP/CP
